Traffic information for the rbb
rbb 88.8 has deep roots in the city and the region. Traffic updates are a regular part of the program: the more current and detailed, the better. On weekdays the producers give updates live several times per hour from Berlin’s Traffic Information Center. The VMZ prepares the content: the current traffic situation in the city, information on construction, blockages, and events, public transport info, and even webcam pictures of problematic points.

Construction Site Information System
Where is there construction? Where are road closures? For the BIBER Project, the VMZ developed a Client-Server solution for Berlin and Brandenburg to answer these questions. The fire brigade, police, media, and others who need or provide this information have access, as do citizens.
